Domaine Chanson: Expansion of the Burgundy Estate
In early June, Domaine Chanson presented the 2022 vintage, which had just been bottled, to the press.
Domaine Chanson, one of the oldest Maisons in Burgundy, is pleased to announce the appointment of Thierry Berger as Chief Executive Officer.
Aged 53 and originally from Tours, Thierry Berger joins Domaine Chanson with solid experience in general management. Having spent more than ten years at the head of Soufflet Vigne, a major player in the French winegrowing industry, he brings with him a deep commitment to the professions of the vine and wine. Throughout his career, he has supported winegrowers, cooperatives, and wine merchants at every stage of their operations, providing agronomic, oenological, and technical expertise.
This appointment is part of the ongoing momentum of the Domaine, owned by the Bollinger family group since 1999, aimed at strengthening the growth and reputation of Chanson wines, both in France and internationally.
“It is a great honor for me to have been chosen to join such an iconic house as Domaine Chanson, within the Bollinger Group. I am determined to continue its development by producing wines of excellence that respect our terroirs, while preparing for the future with rigor and passion.”
