Vintage report
After a classic winter, spring settled down with warm temperatures but a cool weather in April slackened down the evolution of the vines. May was rainy and was followed by a warm summer with heat waves. However, a few thunderstorms episodes brought enough rain to allow the maturation of the grapes to continue. The harvest started early september with an excellent sanitary level of the grapes. Vinification : whole bunch fermentation for approximately two weeks, the wines are then aged in our XVth century cellar for a period between 14 and 18 months. Moderate use of new oak.

Vintage report
After a relatively mild and wet winter, spring 2016 was marked by a spell of frost at the end of April, which significantly slowed down the development of the vines. May was cool and very rainy, further delaying the growing cycle. From June onwards, weather conditions improved and the summer turned out to be hot and sunny, punctuated by a few beneficial thunderstorms that revitalized the vines. Ripening progressed slowly but surely, and September, which was dry and sunny, allowed the grapes to reach a beautiful maturity.

Vintage report
Despite a challenging start to the year with unusually cold and rainy weather, the vines showed remarkable resilience. After a difficult spring and disrupted flowering, summer finally brought warmth and sunshine, allowing for a healthy ripening of the grapes. Although a severe hailstorm on July 23rd damaged several parcels, the return of dry, sunny conditions in August helped preserve fruit quality. Thanks to careful sorting during the harvest, which began in early October, only the healthiest grapes were selected—offering hope for a promising vintage despite the year's many challenges.
