Driven by a deep respect for the land, our team pays attention to every detail, from pruning to the hand-harvesting of grapes at full ripeness. This care, in perfect harmony with the plant’s cycle, allows us to elevate the character of our great Burgundy “climats.”
To continuously raise the quality of our wines, we do not hesitate to question ourselves and to innovate, standing at the crossroads of tradition and modernity. In 2019, upon taking charge of our vineyard, Justine Savoye introduced significant changes to certain viticultural practices in the Côte de Beaune.

Revealing Each Terroir with Ever Greater Precision
Our meticulous work has become even more focused across our different “climats.” Uprooting, replanting, fertilization, and even harvest dates now depend on a new parcel-based approach, defined according to the age and geography of our Burgundy vines.
Care for the vines has also been reinforced. Justine Savoye’s team has doubled in size, now with fifteen full-time members. The evolution of fertilization, pruning, and debudding methods reflects our commitment to naturally preserving yields against climatic challenges, such as spring frosts, and to ensuring the long-term health of our parcels.
All these methods, proven in the Côte de Beaune, are already guiding the management of our vineyards in the Côte Chalonnaise. And so, the story of Domaine Chanson continues to be written…
